The 2007 Summer Academy and 2008 May Workshop Multimedia Project is close to being ready for release. The contents of this project includes hours of video and complete textbook references to Oakwood teacher training and visiting educator training for the Summer 2007 Academy and a video-recorded presentation made in May 2008 for regional educators who wanted to learn more about starting and maintaining a charter school. Sheldon Nature Area committee has developed the nature center into
an environmental education learning center through dedicated
community volunteers over the past twelve years. The committee chairperson,
John Walsh, has been the catalyst that transformed the site into a
beautiful living environmental educational laboratory. The vision of becoming an
