ART
Art Classes have enjoyed art projects that are related to the environment and nature. A few examples of these projects would be:
Kindergarten-Bugs in a Bottle Collage
First Grade-Monet’s Garden Collage
Second Grade-Glue Line Butterflies
Third Grade-Snowflake Triptych
Fourth Grade-Tree Stitchery
Four/Five Split-Ceramic Owls/Birds of Prey
Fifth Grade-Eye Spy Wisconsin Wildlife Mixed Media Drawing
All of the various projects are a part of our on going art displays throughout the year in our hallways.
READING ROOM /
MEDIA SERVICES
Many of the students who worked with Mrs. Thompson were able to focus on guided reading material that was environmentally focused. Mrs. Thompson was able to expose her students to the non-fiction selections that our new guided reading library stores.
Mrs. Neuser was able to order more environmental books for our media checkout. Our students took full advantage of these great materials.
